Manchester United supporters are in disbelief over Jack Grealish not receiving a red card for his actions in this particular incident.

During the recent Manchester derby, there was controversy surrounding Jack Grealish, as some fans strongly believed that he should have received a red card for an altercation with Sofyan Amrabat.

The derby, which took place at Old Trafford, saw Manchester City dominating Manchester United with a resounding 3-0 victory.

Erling Haaland was instrumental in City’s triumph, opening the scoring with a contentious penalty before adding a second goal with a header shortly after halftime. He then provided an assist to Phil Foden, sealing the three points for Pep Guardiola’s team.

However, it was the incident involving Jack Grealish and Sofyan Amrabat that grabbed the attention of many fans. A segment of City supporters felt that Grealish should have been sent off for his actions during the confrontation with Amrabat.

One fan in the crowd was vocal about the incident, expressing disbelief at the lack of a card for Grealish after he appeared to make contact with Amrabat’s chest. This led to questions and debates among fans about the consistency of officiating decisions.

Another fan pointed out the perceived inconsistency in carding players, referencing an incident where a different player, Onana, received a card for seemingly innocuous behavior, while Grealish’s actions were not penalized in the same manner.

A third fan, echoing the sentiments of others, described Grealish’s actions as a “violent punch” to Amrabat’s chest and questioned whether the PGMOL (Professional Game Match Officials Limited) had reviewed the incident.
