Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal team is set for a remarkable injury boost as three star players are poised to make their return ahead of the clash with Sevilla, following an incredible message from Diego Alonso.

Arsenal’s manager, Mikel Arteta, is grappling with a growing injury crisis that includes several key players, such as Martin Odegaard, Thomas Partey, Gabriel Jesus, Emile Smith Rowe, and Jurrein Timber.

Martín Odegaard was notably absent from the Arsenal squad for their match against Newcastle United. Despite his injury not being severe, the 24-year-old, who scored a late consolation goal against West Ham United last week, was ruled out for the Magpies game. There was hope that he might return for the match against Sevilla, but that didn’t materialize.

Emile Smith Rowe also missed a recent match due to a knee issue. The extent of his absence is uncertain, but Mikel Arteta mentioned that it would likely be a matter of weeks.

Thomas Partey suffered a thigh injury during training a few weeks ago, resulting in his absence from recent games. Arteta confirmed that Partey’s recovery would take a few weeks, but the full seriousness of the injury is still being assessed.

Gabriel Jesus, who had a promising performance against Sevilla in the Champions League, scoring and assisting, experienced a hamstring issue during the match.

Although the severity of the problem remains unclear, he limped off the pitch, and scans revealed a muscle injury. Reports suggest that he might return in December, but the precise timing depends on his recovery progress.

Jurrein Timber had successful surgery and is currently in the recovery phase of his rehabilitation. He was notably absent from the match against Manchester United earlier in the season.

Timber’s absence is a significant blow to the team, as a suitable replacement was not identified during the summer transfer window.
