Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United’s captain, has affirmed his commitment to the club amid rumors linking him to a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.

Reports from Spain have suggested that Fernandes is a prime target for Saudi clubs, with anticipated bids of €100m (£87.5m). While not completely ruling out a transfer, Fernandes emphasized his dedication to excelling with both Manchester United and the Portuguese national team.

During a press conference, Fernandes acknowledged the positive aspect of being sought after but underscored his current priorities. Despite acknowledging that things might not have started as expected at United, he expressed contentment with his current position and emphasized not thinking too far ahead.

Addressing ongoing transfer rumors, Fernandes mentioned that he pays little attention to speculation until concrete offers emerge.

At 29 years old, Fernandes is under contract with Manchester United until 2026, signaling the club’s lack of immediate urgency to consider offers for their captain.

Jadon Sancho, another player on the radar of Saudi Arabian clubs, is not currently inclined toward a move to the Middle East at this stage of his career. Despite being a target for Saudi clubs in the past and potential January offers looming, Sancho’s representatives have clarified that they won’t engage with the highest bidder.

Sancho’s preference is reportedly leaning towards a return to his former club Borussia Dortmund, though financial complexities could complicate the deal. Other potential suitors, such as Juventus, may also encounter difficulties in navigating the intricacies of a transfer deal for the winger.

These statements from Fernandes and Sancho provide insights into the players’ current priorities, emphasizing their commitment to their respective careers and suggesting that any potential moves would be carefully considered based on their preferences and the opportunities presented.
