This morning, the transfer of David de Gea to a Premier League powerhouse has been officially confirmed.

Manchester United is reportedly strategizing to bring back David de Gea on a short-term deal as Andre Onana, who replaced him, heads to the Africa Cup of Nations. Since being released in the summer, De Gea has yet to join a new club. Meanwhile, Real Sociedad defender Robin Le Normand has emerged on the radars of both Manchester United and Liverpool.

Bayern Munich’s interest in Fulham midfielder Joao Palhinha, previously close to a summer move, remains uncertain. Jose Mourinho is anticipated to depart Roma in the summer and return to the Premier League, with striker Tammy Abraham potentially involved in a swap deal with Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.

Chelsea is contemplating a significant €100m (£87m) bid for Barcelona’s Gavi, considering Barcelona’s financial predicament. Manchester City values striker Julian Alvarez at a minimum of £80m, deterring potential suitors Barcelona and Real Madrid. Additionally, Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus is attracting attention from both Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is exploring the possibility of leveraging Manchester United’s interest in Takefusa Kubo, triggering his €60m (£52m) release clause and subsequently selling him to the Red Devils for €70m (£61m). The funds raised might be directed toward a move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Fabian Ruiz, who is on manager Carlo Ancelotti’s radar.

Liverpool is poised to challenge Manchester City for the signing of Chelsea left-back Ian Maatsen, considering a potential January exit from Stamford Bridge for the Dutchman. Tottenham Hotspur is hoping to ward off competition from Newcastle United in the pursuit of Juventus winger Federico Chiesa. Juventus, grappling with financial concerns, is open to selling the £60m-rated star.
