Fabrizio Romano has shared significant developments regarding Jadon Sancho’s future at Manchester United, offering a comprehensive overview of the club’s strategies for the star player.

Jadon Sancho is on the verge of a temporary departure from Manchester United, with indications pointing towards a loan move back to Borussia Dortmund. As per transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, ongoing negotiations between the clubs are in progress, awaiting approval for Sancho to join Dortmund’s winter training camp.

In 2021, Sancho made a high-profile move from Dortmund to Manchester United for €85 million after a stellar stint at Signal Iduna Park. During his time at United, the 23-year-old English talent excelled, scoring 50 goals and providing 64 assists in 137 appearances.

Despite his initial success, Sancho’s Premier League journey hit a snag when a fallout with manager Erik ten Hag in September led to his exclusion from the first-team squad. Despite requests to apologize and reclaim his position, Sancho declined, resulting in zero game time since the incident.

A January departure seemed inevitable, and now, a six-month loan return to Borussia Dortmund is in the cards. While Romano suggests the deal isn’t finalized, preparations for Sancho’s move to Dortmund’s camp in Marbella are in progress.

The final stages of negotiations revolve around a fee of approximately €4 million, covering the loan and salary aspects.

Dortmund’s ongoing winter training camp in Marbella includes friendly matches against AZ Alkmaar on January 6 and Standard Liege on January 9, leading up to their Bundesliga return match against Darmstadt on January 13.

The potential loan move presents a significant shift for Sancho, offering him the chance to reignite his career at a familiar club where he previously thrived. The terms being negotiated highlight the financial aspects of the deal, with both clubs working towards a resolution that accommodates the loan arrangement and salary considerations.

As the discussions progress, all eyes are on whether the talented winger will make a successful return to Dortmund and potentially revive his form during the loan spell.
