As per reports from The Athletic, the Brazilian Football Federation has received confirmation in written form that the current Italian manager, Carlo Ancelotti, maintains a strong desire to join them once his tenure with Real Madrid concludes in the summer of 2024.
Beginning January 1st, Ancelotti would be at liberty to engage in negotiations regarding his future with any interested parties, and the CBF intends to publicly address his potential recruitment starting from the new year, aiming to exert pressure on both the coach and Madrid.
Additionally, the CBF asserts that they possess “legal guarantees” ensuring Ancelotti’s commitment to assume the managerial role next summer.
This assurance is not legally binding, affording the manager the flexibility to extend his stay at the Spanish capital should he receive an offer of contract renewal from Florentino Perez.
Despite ongoing speculation, Ancelotti has consistently expressed his satisfaction with his current position at Madrid. The club, too, acknowledges his adeptness in handling pressure—a quality that has proven challenging for some of his predecessors.
Moreover, Ancelotti’s commendable performance this season, amidst injuries to several key players, has garnered praise from the hierarchy at the Bernabeu, prompting contemplation of a potential contract extension.
