Real Madrid will consider selling a 24-year-old star if PSG’s primary target, Kylian Mbappe, arrives in the summer.

Real Madrid is leaving no stone unturned in their quest to strengthen their squad for the upcoming campaign.

Their sights are set on top targets Kylian Mbappe and Alphonso Davies, aiming to secure signings that will not only bolster the team but also serve as regular starters and significant contributors on the field for Los Blancos.

In particular, Davies’ potential arrival is poised to fortify a position where none of Carlo Ancelotti’s current options have been entirely convincing.

The left-back position has seen Fran Garcia and Ferland Mendy both face challenges, leaving room for Davies to potentially seize the starting role.

According to reports from MARCA, Davies’ impending arrival next season could greatly diminish Garcia’s importance in the team. With Ancelotti reportedly favoring the renewal of Mendy’s contract, Garcia may find himself relegated to the third-choice option under the Italian manager.

As a result, Garcia’s future at Real Madrid hangs in the balance. If the club receives a suitable offer for him, especially one that exceeds the €5 million spent on his acquisition last summer, they may opt to sell him to capitalize on the opportunity.

Despite providing four assists in 18 appearances and 11 starts in La Liga this season, Garcia has seen limited playing time recently, starting just one of Real Madrid’s last six games across all competitions.

Meanwhile, negotiations with Bayern Munich over Davies’ transfer fee pose a potential hurdle for Real Madrid.

Although the club has reportedly reached a verbal agreement with the Canadian international, the finalization of a deal with Bayern remains uncertain.

Consequently, Real Madrid must decide whether to pursue Davies this summer at a potentially subsidized fee or wait until next year when he becomes a free agent.

The outcome of Real Madrid’s pursuit of Davies will significantly impact Garcia’s future at the club.

If Davies joins Los Blancos, Garcia’s opportunities may dwindle further, potentially prompting the club to part ways with him to make room for new acquisitions and streamline the squad.
