Saudi Arabian clubs are preparing to present FC Barcelona with an exceptionally lucrative offer, described as “crazy huge,” following a staggering bid of over $100 million proposed for a surprising striker this summer.

In addition to securing a spot in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and rekindling their pursuit of the La Liga title, FC Barcelona has witnessed another positive development in recent weeks with the resurgence of Robert Lewandowski’s exceptional form.

The Polish striker, who clinched the Pichichi award in his debut season at the Catalan club, is once again contending for the prestigious accolade, trailing the league’s top scorer, Jude Bellingham, by just three goals.

Throughout the current campaign, Lewandowski has netted a total of 20 goals, with 13 of those coming in La Liga alone.

These impressive statistics have garnered significant attention from observers closely monitoring the seasoned striker’s performances.

Notably, clubs in Saudi Arabia have been persistent in their attempts to lure Lewandowski to the Middle East since the previous summer transfer window.

Reports from Mundo Deportivo indicate that Saudi clubs have renewed their pursuit of the Pole and have already tabled an offer exceeding €100 million.

Lewandowski has rebuffed this proposal, affirming his commitment to Barcelona and his desire to honor his contract, which extends until June 2025, with the provision for an optional additional year contingent upon his playing a predetermined number of matches.

Publicly, Lewandowski has reiterated his intention to remain at Barcelona, emphasizing his contentment with life in the city.

His family, too, shares his sentiment and intends to continue residing in Barcelona even after his retirement from professional football.

While Lewandowski may consider a stint in Major League Soccer (MLS) before hanging up his boots, his ultimate plan is to return to Barcelona for permanent residence.

Despite Lewandowski’s firm stance, Saudi clubs are expected to persist in their pursuit of the Barcelona star.

They aim to bolster their league’s appeal by adding Lewandowski to a roster that already boasts renowned names such as Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Benzema, Veratti, and Mane, among others.
