Arsenal faced Aston Villa at home in the Premier League, hoping to secure a win. Despite a decent start, they found themselves scoreless at halftime.

However, late goals from Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins led to a disappointing 2-0 loss for Mikel Arteta’s side.

In terms of individual performances, goalkeeper David Raya had a quiet game, conceding twice in the latter stages. Ben White provided solidity at the back and contributed offensively before being substituted.

William Saliba cleared danger but faltered during Villa’s late surge. Gabriel struggled defensively, while Oleksandr Zinchenko’s contributions were limited in attack.

Martin Odegaard posed a threat but couldn’t find the net, while Declan Rice offered defensive cover but lacked creativity. Kai Havertz showed glimpses of quality but failed to score.

Bukayo Saka created chances but couldn’t capitalize, and Gabriel Jesus caused problems but couldn’t make a significant impact. Leandro Trossard provided opportunities from the flank but couldn’t convert them into goals.

Overall, it was a disappointing outing for Arsenal, with missed chances and defensive lapses costing them the game against Aston Villa at the Emirates Stadium.
