The billionaire owner has initiated a series of changes within United’s administrative team, with assistance from INEOS chief Sir Dave Brailsford.

Expressing dissatisfaction with the condition of various facilities, particularly highlighting deficiencies in the IT department and the dressing rooms for the youth teams, the owner conducted a comprehensive assessment of the club.

In an email obtained by The Daily Mail, the owner conveyed his observations, noting areas of concern such as untidiness in several locations.

Specifically, he emphasized the subpar state of the IT department and the dressing rooms for the U18 and U21 teams, stressing that such standards fall short of expectations for an elite sporting organization like Manchester United.

Highlighting the importance of maintaining high standards and discipline, the owner underscored the significance of proper housekeeping to uphold the club’s reputation, especially in the presence of visitors, parents of young players, new signings, and the media.

In an effort to address these concerns, the owner emphasized the need for adherence to proper standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the club’s facilities.

Furthermore, the owner has already taken steps to restructure United’s executive team to enhance overall standards.

This includes the appointment of Omar Berrada as CEO, slated to assume the role during the upcoming summer.

Additionally, John Murtough has relinquished his position as football director, with his responsibilities to be assumed by technical director Jason Wilcox and incoming sporting director Dan Ashworth upon the completion of his move from Newcastle.

These measures signify a concerted effort by the owner to improve the overall standards and operations of Manchester United, ensuring that the club maintains its status as an elite sporting institution.
