Shocking Chelsea Flops has left Stanford Bridge this Morning to Join Premier League Giants as Enzo plans take shape.

Chelsea defender Renato Veiga is reportedly drawing interest from Premier League sides Wolves and Bournemouth, as per the Daily Mail.

This development comes as Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca looks to trim the club’s large squad and make strategic changes ahead of the transfer window.

The Italian manager, who has been in charge for approximately six months, is said to have identified the players he wishes to keep and those he is prepared to let go. Among the potential departures is Veiga, who only joined Chelsea in the summer from Basel.

Despite his brief time at the club, the 21-year-old has made 11 starts and six substitute appearances. However, he has not played since starting in a Conference League match against Shamrock Rovers on December 19, suggesting that he may no longer be part of Maresca’s plans.

Bournemouth, who already have Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan, would have to pursue a permanent deal for Veiga due to regulations around loan players.

Wolves are also keen on the defender, but the competition does not end there. Clubs from Europe, including Stuttgart, Napoli, and Juventus, are reportedly monitoring the young player’s situation and may also enter the race to secure his signature.

Chelsea’s willingness to part ways with Veiga is tied to their plans to bring in new players. One key target is Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi, an England international, whose signing would address some of the defensive vulnerabilities in the squad.

However, to comply with Profit and Sustainability Rules, Chelsea must offload players to create financial room for new acquisitions.

Veiga is not the only player on the chopping block. Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, who joined Chelsea in the summer from Leicester City, is another name likely to leave.

Despite showing promise at his former club, Dewsbury-Hall has struggled for playing time and failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge.

His potential departure would further contribute to Chelsea’s efforts to balance their squad and finances.

Chelsea’s approach underscores a clear strategy to reshape the team under Maresca’s leadership. While selling players like Veiga and Dewsbury-Hall might not have been part of the original plan, the club appears focused on building a squad that aligns with the manager’s vision while adhering to financial regulations. As transfer interest builds, the coming weeks could see significant changes at Stamford Bridge.
