Good News for Real Madrid fans as Manchester City star waves ‘goodbye’ to Guardiola with transfer to Saudi Arabia now on the verge deal almost done.

Kevin De Bruyne’s future at Manchester City is uncertain as the summer transfer window approaches.

The Belgian midfielder, who has been a key player for the Premier League champions over the last decade, is nearing the end of his contract at the Etihad Stadium, which expires at the conclusion of the current season.

At 33 years old and dealing with ongoing fitness challenges, there has been no significant progress on a contract renewal for De Bruyne. Many believe that this signals the end of his illustrious spell at Manchester City.

The club may already be preparing for life without him by identifying potential replacements for the upcoming season.

Former Premier League scout Mick Brown recently shared his thoughts with Football Insider, suggesting that it is highly likely De Bruyne will leave Manchester City in the summer.

Brown also revealed that clubs in Saudi Arabia are closely monitoring the midfielder’s situation, having shown interest in securing his services during the previous transfer window.

Brown explained that City’s willingness to consider De Bruyne’s departure stems from concerns about his fitness and availability, as well as the desire to reduce his playing minutes. He added, “I’m not surprised to hear Man City are willing to let him leave.

They would like him to play more of a bit-part role on reduced minutes, but they also have concerns about his fitness and availability.

They could be open to seeing him leave as a result of that.” He further stated, “There are clubs in Saudi Arabia who have been keeping an eye on his situation, so they could make him a big-money offer to tempt him to make the move.”

While De Bruyne’s future remains a topic of speculation, another major story in the football world involves Dani Olmo’s situation at Barcelona.

The Spanish international, who joined the Catalan club for £60 million last summer, is reportedly unable to be registered for the second half of the season due to financial constraints at the club.

This development has attracted the interest of several top clubs, with Manchester City emerging as strong contenders to secure Olmo’s signature. According to Football Insider, Pep Guardiola’s connections with Barcelona place City in an advantageous position to sign the talented midfielder.

The potential acquisition of Olmo could serve as a strategic move by City to strengthen their squad and prepare for a future without De Bruyne, should the Belgian decide to leave the club.
