A Real Madrid star has just confirmed he’s leaving at the end of the season

Endrick’s once-promising journey at Real Madrid now appears to be hanging by a thread. Despite being one of the most highly anticipated signings in recent years, the young Brazilian forward has yet to find his place under Xabi Alonso.

With the 2026 World Cup drawing closer, his lack of playing time has become a major concern — and sources suggest he is seriously considering leaving Madrid in search of regular football. Clubs like Marseille, Juventus, and several Premier League sides are already monitoring his situation closely ahead of the January transfer window.

When Real Madrid secured Endrick’s signature from Palmeiras, he was hailed as the next big Brazilian star — a player destined to follow in the footsteps of Vinícius Júnior and Rodrygo.

The hype surrounding his arrival at the Santiago Bernabéu was enormous, as fans and pundits alike expected him to become a key figure in the club’s attack. However, the reality has turned out very differently. Now 19, Endrick has yet to feature in a single competitive match this season, neither in La Liga nor in the Champions League.

Initially, it was believed that Carlo Ancelotti was simply taking a cautious approach, allowing the teenager time to adapt to life in Spain and to the demands of European football.

But with Ancelotti’s departure and Xabi Alonso’s arrival, little has changed. Endrick continues to warm the bench while other young players like Gonzalo García get opportunities ahead of him. Meanwhile, the presence of global superstar Kylian Mbappé has further reduced his chances of breaking into the first team.

This lack of playing time is not only stalling Endrick’s development but also putting his international ambitions at risk.

The forward dreams of representing Brazil at the 2026 World Cup, yet his absence from competitive matches makes it difficult for national team selectors to consider him. With new Brazilian talents such as Estevão Willian emerging and making waves in Europe, Endrick fears being left behind in the competition for a spot in the Seleção.

According to French outlet L’Équipe, Olympique de Marseille are particularly keen to offer him a way out.

Head coach Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly eager to strengthen his attacking options in January, especially with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Amine Gouiri set to leave for the Africa Cup of Nations. Marseille already expressed interest in Endrick during the summer and are now preparing a renewed approach, most likely for a loan move.

For Endrick, such a move could represent a much-needed fresh start — a chance to regain confidence, rhythm, and visibility away from the immense expectations of the Bernabéu. Playing in Ligue 1 might give him the freedom to express his talent and prove that the promise which once surrounded his name was no fluke.
