Mohamed Salah’s future at Liverpool has once again become a major talking point, with reports suggesting that interest from Saudi Arabia has not gone away.
Despite his legendary status at Anfield and the incredible impact he’s had over the years, the Egyptian forward is said to be attracting renewed attention from top Saudi Pro League sides following a noticeable decline in his performances this season.

At 33, age may finally be catching up with him, and his numbers so far this campaign clearly haven’t lived up to the high standards he has set in the past. Last season, Salah’s future was already hugely uncertain, with many believing he would leave before eventually agreeing to a new contract toward the end of the campaign.
That decision brought relief to Liverpool fans worldwide, who feared losing one of the greatest players in the club’s modern history. However, things look different now.
Salah has managed just two goals in his last twelve matches, and his form drop became even more evident when he was left out of the starting lineup in Liverpool’s recent win away at West Ham.
For a player who once seemed capable of following a Cristiano Ronaldo–like trajectory, performing at elite levels well into his late thirties, this sudden downturn has shocked supporters.
