SHOCKING NEWS: MANCHESTER UNITED Greenwood set to bring a FORTUNE to Old Trafford

    ABBy ABDecember 10, 2025No Comments3 Mins Read

Mason Greenwood is rapidly becoming one of the hottest names in Saudi Arabian football, as increasing interest from clubs in the Saudi Pro League continues to intensify.

The former Manchester United forward, who is currently rebuilding his career in Europe, has now attracted attention from one of the league’s ambitious sides, signaling a potential record-breaking move in the near future.

A report from Foot01 reveals that Neom SC, a rising club competing in Saudi Arabia’s top division, is preparing an extraordinary offer to secure Greenwood’s services during the summer 2026 transfer window. The club is reportedly willing to invest up to €100 million to sign the talented attacker.

Should this deal go through, it would mark the largest transfer fee ever paid by a Saudi club, exceeding the €70 million Al Hilal spent to bring Neymar from PSG. Such a move would not only shake the league but also redefine its transfer ambitions.

This potential transfer could also deliver a significant financial boost to Manchester United. When Greenwood left the club, United strategically included a sell-on clause that would entitle them to 40–50% of any future transfer profit if the player is sold by his current team.

With the projected fee hovering around €100 million, United could earn a massive payout without having Greenwood on their books.

Greenwood’s market value has risen sharply due to his impressive displays at Olympique Marseille, where he has re-established himself as a decisive attacking force.

At just 24 years old, he has already proven he has the qualities to compete at the highest level and possibly develop even further.

Scouts and analysts widely agree that €100 million is a fair valuation given his age, potential, and current form.

His performances this season provide clear evidence of his resurgence. Greenwood has contributed directly to 17 goals—13 goals and 4 assists—across only 20 appearances in all competitions for Marseille.

On December 10, he once again demonstrated his exceptional talent by scoring a brilliant solo goal in a thrilling 3–2 Champions League victory over Union SG, showcasing both pace and composure in front of goal.

While Greenwood’s finishing ability with either foot has always been one of his trademarks something he displayed abundantly during his time at Manchester United his game has evolved significantly in France.

He is becoming a more complete forward, showing improvements in his link-up play, decision-making, and positional intelligence. His ability to operate both as a winger and as a central striker has made him a versatile offensive asset.

With his form soaring and interest growing rapidly, Saudi Arabia may become the next major destination for Greenwood, potentially redefining his career and reshaping the transfer landscape in the Saudi Pro League.
