Reports circulating in Spain suggest that a potential summer transfer involving Federico Valverde has sparked surprise and debate among fans and players alike.
The situation has allegedly drawn a reaction from his teammate Kylian Mbappe, with claims that many within the dressing room did not anticipate the midfielder considering a move away from Real Madrid — particularly to a club perceived to be going through a turbulent period like Manchester United.
According to the reports, Valverde has informed Madrid’s hierarchy that he would be open to joining United during the upcoming summer transfer window if Alvaro Arbeloa remains in a leading coaching role next season.
