Manchester United their 3 points after the shocking VAR error that ruled out Casemiro’s goal

In a dramatic development, reports claim that a UEFA court has ordered the English FA to restore three points to Manchester United following a controversial VAR decision involving Casemiro’s disallowed goal.

A fresh press release issued this morning allegedly confirms that PGMOL has taken action against the match officials involved, intensifying debate around officiating standards and the use of technology in English football.

The controversy stems from Manchester United’s recent Premier League clash with West Ham United at the London Stadium.

The fixture marked the end of United’s winning streak under interim manager Michael Carrick. While the Red Devils managed to remain unbeaten, they were forced to settle for a draw in dramatic circumstances.

West Ham broke the deadlock shortly after halftime when Czech midfielder Tomas Soucek found the back of the net in the 50th minute, capitalizing on a tense and tightly contested encounter.

Manchester United pushed hard in response, showing renewed urgency as they sought to overturn the deficit.

In the 63rd minute, Brazilian midfielder Casemiro appeared to have leveled the score with a well-timed header. However, celebrations were cut short when the goal was subjected to a VAR review.

After a detailed check, officials ruled the effort out for offside, citing marginal positioning beyond the last defender.

The decision sparked frustration among United players and supporters alike, particularly given the tight nature of the call.

Carrick responded decisively, making a triple substitution by introducing Benjamin Sesko, Leny Yoro, and Joshua Zirkzee.

The tactical changes injected fresh energy into the squad and shifted momentum in United’s favor as the match approached its closing stages.

Deep into stoppage time, Sesko delivered a crucial breakthrough. The Slovenian forward, who had entered the match in the 69th minute in place of Matheus Cunha, scored in the 90+6th minute to rescue a point for United.

He converted from close range after connecting with a cross from Cameroon international Bryan Mbeumo, ensuring the visitors avoided defeat.

The late equalizer marked Sesko’s second goal in three appearances since his move from RB Leipzig.

Following the match, the Premier League released a statement explaining the rationale behind disallowing Casemiro’s goal.

According to the league’s clarification, VAR officials determined that a portion of Casemiro’s knee and arm was marginally ahead of the last defender when the cross was delivered by Kobbie Mainoo.

The video review reportedly confirmed the on-field decision, leading to the goal being overturned.

Despite the league’s defense of the ruling, the alleged UEFA court intervention has reignited scrutiny over officiating consistency and the interpretation of offside laws.

If confirmed, the restoration of three points would have significant implications for the Premier League standings and could set a powerful precedent regarding accountability in VAR decisions.
