BREAKING NEWS: Michael Carrick has finally shed light on the fitness concerns surrounding Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire following Manchester United FC’s dramatic 2–1 victory over Crystal Palace FC at Old Trafford.
The caretaker coach admitted that while Shaw has been a vital contributor since he took charge, a recent update from the medical team has left him in a state of uncertainty regarding the full extent of the England international’s condition.

Reflecting on the game, Carrick acknowledged United’s sluggish start: “We didn’t start the game great; Palace did, and luckily we grew into it. I’m really happy. Coming in at halftime a goal down was a test for us. It’s football.
They are a good team, and it doesn’t take much for the game to swing both ways.” On the controversial penalty and red card for Lacroix, he commented: “He’s clean through on goal.
It was a great pass from Bruno. It definitely asks the question of the officials. The fourth official said the review wasn’t the penalty but what color he was going to give.”
Carrick also praised Sesko’s impact, saying: “Ben’s there to score goals, and he’s done enough of that lately. He’s an important player, and he’s going to be even more important as the season progresses.”
