    Federico Chiesa’s journey at Liverpool this season has been anything but smooth, yet his father, Enrico Chiesa, has reaffirmed the winger’s commitment to the club.

    Despite some struggles, the Italian forward remains determined to make an impact and prove himself in the Premier League.

    Chiesa, 27, played a crucial role in Liverpool’s Carabao Cup final victory at Wembley, scoring the decisive goal that secured the trophy. However, that moment of glory has been one of the few highlights in what has been a challenging season for him.

    With just nine league matches left in the campaign, his place in the squad remains uncertain, and speculation continues to grow about his potential departure in the summer transfer window.

    Despite this, Enrico Chiesa has dismissed any doubts about his son’s future at the club. Speaking to Tuttosport, he made it clear that Federico remains fully committed to Liverpool and is eager to contribute to their ongoing success.

    “Federico is very happy at Liverpool. He is at a top club that is leading the Premier League, and now we hope he can win the title!” Chiesa Sr. stated. “He is there to have his say, and he has a great opportunity.”

    Although his enthusiasm for the club remains strong, Federico Chiesa has yet to establish himself as a regular starter under Liverpool’s current setup.

    He has not started a single Premier League game so far, with only two appearances in the starting XI across all competitions in his 11 outings.

    Given his reputation as one of Europe’s most exciting attacking talents—especially after playing a key role in Italy’s Euro 2020 triumph—such a limited role at Liverpool may seem surprising.

    For a player of Chiesa’s caliber, the lack of consistent playing time could easily become a source of frustration.
