Liverpool are said to have set a clear asking price for Konaté. While they are not officially putting him on the transfer list, they have reportedly informed intermediaries connected to Real Madrid that they would be open to negotiating if an offer of at least €55 million is made.
This valuation reflects Konaté’s importance to the team, as well as the fact that the Premier League season is just around the corner, leaving little time to secure a quality replacement.
Given that the Reds have already lost Quansah in defence, the potential departure of Konaté would leave Arne Slot with limited options at the back.
