However, Real Madrid received unfortunate news as midfielder Pablo Barrios is set to miss the derby against Atletico Madrid due to injury, as reported by AS. In their previous Champions League match against Lazio, Barrios, along with Axel Witsel, sustained injuries and had to be substituted off.
In the UCL match against Lazio, Atletico Madrid was on the verge of securing a victory until Lazio’s goalkeeper Ivan Provedel scored an impressive header in the 95th minute to equalize.
Both Pablo Barrios and Axel Witsel picked up injuries during this game.
