Onana suffered a setback during a match, collapsing to the turf and visibly holding his groin as he exited the field, subsequently replaced by Nimes goalkeeper Fabrice Ondoa.
Cameroon manager Rigobert Song, who recently reconciled with Onana after a disagreement over team tactics, has not provided an update on the goalkeeper’s condition.
Onana, who came out of international retirement in September, is expected to miss Cameroon’s upcoming match against Guinea.

If Onana opts to represent Cameroon at the Africa Cup of Nations, he could miss a significant number of United games, including Premier League clashes against Tottenham Hotspur, Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United, and Aston Villa. The potential absence might extend to FA Cup third- and fourth-round fixtures.
