After more than a year of attempting to sell the club, the Glazer family has finally reached an agreement with British billionaire Ratcliffe.
The lifelong Manchester United fan acquired a 25% stake in the club in a substantial £1.3 billion deal, with the official announcement made on December 24th.
Ratcliffe is poised to oversee the sporting aspect of the club, sparking anticipation among fans for significant transformations in the near future.
As Erik ten Hag takes charge, establishing a positive rapport with the new investors becomes crucial in his quest to elevate the team back into the top four.
Expressing enthusiasm about the potential collaboration, the Dutch manager stated via Daily Mail on Friday, “They want to work with me, and I want to work with them. We will have the conversations and meetings; we will see. The schedule is so condensed I didn’t have the time so far to speak with them, but it will come. I look forward.”
As Ten Hag sets his sights on securing three points against Nottingham Forest on Saturday evening, a consecutive Premier League victory is the immediate goal.
