Arsenal has reportedly instructed a star player valued at £50 million to depart the club this summer following a recent disagreement with the coach.

According to a report from Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has identified several players as potential targets, with Arsenal’s Gabriel Martinelli among them.

The Brazilian forward has impressed with his performances for Arsenal and is viewed as a valuable long-term asset for the Spanish giants.

At 22 years old, Martinelli has showcased his talent and potential on numerous occasions, contributing seven goals and three assists across all competitions.

His versatility allows him to play in various attacking positions, although he is particularly effective on the left wing.

Barcelona’s need for a quality wide forward is apparent, and Martinelli fits the bill perfectly.

His dribbling skills, creativity, and ability to score goals would undoubtedly enhance Barcelona’s attacking prowess and add unpredictability to their play.

However, prying Martinelli away from Arsenal may prove challenging for Barcelona. The Brazilian has a contract with Arsenal running until the summer of 2027, indicating the club’s long-term investment in his talent.

As such, Barcelona may encounter difficulty persuading Arsenal to part ways with one of their key players.

Furthermore, Martinelli’s importance to Arsenal’s attacking setup makes it unlikely that the club would entertain offers for his services.

Arsenal is focused on building a competitive squad capable of competing for major trophies, and selling a key starter like Martinelli would run counter to their objectives.

Additionally, Barcelona’s current financial constraints may further complicate any potential transfer negotiations.

The club’s limited resources may prevent them from meeting Arsenal’s asking price for Martinelli, making a move this summer improbable.

while Barcelona may have identified Martinelli as a desirable target, the likelihood of securing his services in the near future appears slim.

Arsenal’s reluctance to sell, coupled with Barcelona’s financial limitations, suggests that Martinelli is likely to remain at Arsenal for the foreseeable future as they continue to build a formidable squad.
