FC Bayern Munich Manager Thomas Tuchel Furious at Real Madrid influence on referee team after controversial moment in semi-final after potential equalizer goal was cancelled as offside

Real Madrid secured their spot in yet another Champions League final with a 2-1 victory over Bayern Munich in the second leg of their semi-final clash, resulting in a 4-3 aggregate win.

Joselu Mati’s late brace proved decisive, but controversy marred the game when Matthijs de Ligt’s goal was disallowed for an offside call against Noussair Mazraoui in the build-up.

Bayern’s head coach, Thomas Tuchel, expressed outrage at the decision, labeling it an “absolute disaster.”

He criticized the referee team for allowing play to continue despite the apparent offside infringement, attributing blame to both the linesman and the referee for their errors.

In a subsequent interview, Tuchel suggested that external factors, such as pressure from the Real Madrid fans at the Santiago Bernabeu, may have influenced the referees’ decisions.

He implied that the atmosphere at the stadium played a role in the officiating of the match.

The fallout from the controversial decision is expected to linger in the days ahead, but Real Madrid remains focused on their upcoming Champions League final, less than four weeks away.

Despite any controversy, they are eager to shift their attention to the final and pursue yet another European title.
