Christian Eriksen has made the most disappointing move in the eyes of fans by joining Manchester United’s rivals.

Jadon Sancho has reportedly accepted a salary reduction to facilitate his transfer from Manchester United to Chelsea, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s Ben Chilwell remains a potential departure this summer, as he has been linked with a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce, where he would have the opportunity to reunite with his former manager Jose Mourinho, as reported by Goal.

Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, decided to block the departure of Antony and Christian Eriksen on the final day of the transfer window. The Daily Mail reports that Real Betis had approached United with loan offers for both players, but ten Hag was not willing to sanction their exits.

However, there could still be an impending move for Eriksen, as Belgian side Anderlecht are preparing to make an approach for the Danish midfielder before the closure of their transfer window on September 6, according to Het Belang van Limburg, a Danish outlet.

In another significant move, Raheem Sterling attributed the strong sense of “togetherness” at Arsenal as a key factor in his decision to switch from Chelsea to the north London club on deadline day. The England international reportedly turned down a lucrative offer worth £650,000 per week from the Saudi Pro League in favor of joining Arsenal, according to The Mirror.

Looking ahead to next summer, Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin is expected to depart the club on a free transfer after failing to secure a move away this summer, as reported by Spanish outlet AS.

Meanwhile, Liverpool, having missed out on signing a defensive midfielder in the recent transfer window, are reportedly targeting a new number six in January. Football Insider reveals that the Reds were close to signing Martin Zubimendi, but the player ultimately decided to stay at Real Sociedad.

Spanish star Nico Williams has shared that multiple clubs attempted to sign him during the summer transfer window. However, he opted to remain at Athletic Club instead of making a move to Barcelona, as stated by Barca Universal. On the other hand, young Brazilian talent Endrick could contemplate a loan move away from Real Madrid in January if he does not receive sufficient game time with the Spanish giants, according to AS.

Additionally, West Ham United are preparing to make another bid to secure the services of Jhon Duran in January after failing to lure him away from Aston Villa this summer, reports The Mirror.

Lastly, Arsenal defender Omar Rekik has departed the club following a mutual agreement to terminate his contract. The 22-year-old struggled to break into the first team and spent time on loan at Wigan Athletic and Sparta Rotterdam, as reported by Fabrizio Romano.
