Pep Guardiola asserts that Manchester City won’t lose any more matches and has the players to knock Liverpool and Arsenal out of the Premier League title race.

Pep Guardiola underscored Manchester City’s imperative to secure victories in all of their remaining four matches if they harbor ambitions of clinching the 2023/24 Premier League title.

Following a 2-0 triumph against Nottingham Forest on Sunday, City narrowed the gap behind league leaders Arsenal to just one point, leveraging the advantage of having a match in hand over their rivals.

Guardiola expressed his belief that Arsenal would emerge victorious over AFC Bournemouth, Manchester United, and Everton, thereby exerting pressure on City to garner maximum points from their remaining fixtures to achieve the historic feat of winning four consecutive titles.

“We’ve extended our control for another week. It’s in our hands now, and that’s all we can do,” Guardiola commented, recognizing the pivotal nature of the situation.

Reflecting on previous title races, he emphasized that any dropped points could prove detrimental to their championship aspirations, emphasizing the need for flawless performances in their upcoming matches.

Manchester City received a significant boost with Erling Haaland, the leading contender for the Castrol Golden Boot this season, returning from injury.

Haaland, who notched his 21st goal of the campaign after coming off the bench against Nottingham Forest, conveyed his enthusiasm for the pressure-laden moments of the title race, underscoring his passion for football.

Regarding his fitness for the forthcoming match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Haaland affirmed his readiness to start, fueled by his eagerness to contribute to City’s quest for victory in their remaining “four finals.”
