BREAKING NEWS: FIFA has announced heartbreaking news for the officials and referees of the West Ham vs Manchester United match, resulting in them losing their jobs.

Jarrod Bowen’s injury-time penalty secured a 2-1 win for West Ham over Manchester United, easing some of the pressure on manager Julen Lopetegui.

United had looked set for a draw when Casemiro equalized with a header just minutes after Crysencio Summerville had put West Ham ahead in the 74th minute.

However, the match took a dramatic turn in the final minutes. Referee David Coote was prompted by the Video Assistant Referee to review a late incident involving Matthijs de Ligt’s challenge on Danny Ings in the penalty area.

Despite protests from United’s players, who claimed a handball by Ings, Coote awarded West Ham the penalty. Bowen stepped up and confidently sent the ball past Andre Onana to clinch the victory.

Throughout the first half at the London Stadium, United dominated possession and created multiple chances, but their failure to capitalize proved costly.

West Ham picked up momentum in the second half, creating several attacks on United’s goal, which led to Summerville redirecting a mis-hit shot from Ings to give West Ham their initial lead.
