Although the summer transfer window has not officially opened yet, Europe’s biggest clubs are already working aggressively behind the scenes as preparations intensify for what is expected to become one of the busiest transfer periods in recent years. Clubs such as Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Tottenham are all heavily involved in transfer discussions as they attempt to strengthen their squads ahead of another demanding campaign.
Arsenal, despite winning the Premier League title, reportedly have no intention of slowing down their ambitions. Mikel Arteta and the club hierarchy are believed to be determined to build an even stronger squad capable of competing consistently both domestically and in Europe. Among the biggest names linked with the Gunners are Atlético Madrid forward Julián Álvarez and Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers.
Reports suggest Arsenal view Álvarez as a player capable of adding even more attacking quality, movement, and versatility to their frontline. However, competition for the Argentine forward is expected to be extremely fierce, with both Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain also reportedly interested in securing his signature this summer.
Morgan Rogers is another player attracting major attention across the Premier League. Those remarks reportedly left Arsenal fans concerned that United could possess an advantage if the transfer battle intensifies later in the summer.
In addition to Rogers, Manchester United are reportedly considering Brentford striker Igor Thiago as another attacking option. Brentford are believed to value the Brazilian forward at around £70 million, although discussions remain at an early stage.
