Liverpool FC welcomed Fulham FC to Anfield earlier this evening, aiming to secure a strong home result in the Premier League. The Reds began the match on a solid note, gradually asserting control and showing attacking intent.
Their early pressure paid off in the 36th minute when Rio Ngumoha produced an excellent finish to break the deadlock. Just four minutes later, Mohamed Salah doubled Liverpool’s advantage with a well-taken goal, giving the home side a comfortable 2-0 lead heading into the halftime interval.

Operating centrally in an advanced role, Florian Wirtz was creative and influential, setting up chances for teammates and registering an assist. On the left wing, Ngumoha was one of the standout performers, using his pace and skill to trouble defenders while also scoring the opening goal.
Leading the line, Cody Gakpo linked up play effectively and contributed with an assist, showcasing his importance in Liverpool’s attacking setup.
From the bench, Ryan Gravenberch injected fresh energy into midfield, while Alexis Mac Allister created a notable chance in the final third. Alexander Isak also featured but had a limited impact on the game.
