However, citing recent results, the club has opted for a change in direction. Coates emphasized the paramount importance of the club’s success and confirmed active efforts to find Neil’s successor.
From 2008 to 2018, Stoke City enjoyed a decade in the Premier League under Tony Pulis and Mark Hughes.
Their robust approach under Pulis made them formidable opponents, but since relegation, they’ve struggled to secure promotion. The club is now focused on charting a new course for sustained success, acknowledging the tough decision to seek a fresh direction and a new leader to guide the team.
